The Fall 2016 event will focus on exploring Equity, Diversity and Inclusion within Canadian Student Affairs.

The evening will begin with a keynote address from Dr. Stephanie Waterman, Associate Professor, OISE/UofT.

Participants will have then hear from a diverse panel of Higher Education Professionals and researchers from across the University of Toronto, Ryerson University, and York University. Questions will focus on learning about their journey in the profession, the challenges they’ve faced, their thoughts on the future of the field, and how they are advancing the work of intentional and inclusive practice for all students.

Panelists include:

  • Jen Gonzales, Director of Student Life, Ryerson University
  • Nadia Bello, Education and Communications Advisor, Centre for Human Rights, York University
  • Nadia Rosemond, Manager, Student Life and Leadership Programs, U of T – Scarborough
  • Scott Clarke, Assistant Dean Residence Life, University College, University of Toronto – St. George
  • Ravi Gabble, Health Education Coordinator, University of Toronto – St. George
  • Dr. Stephanie Waterman, Associate Professor, Department of Leadership, Adult and Higher Education, OISE/UofT

Following the panel, attendees will meet with the panelists in small groups to further their conversations about equity, diversity, and inclusion within Canadian Higher Education and Student Affairs.
